Each yucca walking stick is one-of-a-kind, with natural textures and patterns that reflect the beauty of the desert landscape. These Yucca seed stalks are lightweight, strong, resilient, and will never warp. All participants can take home a soaptree yucca seed packet. No experience is necessary. While you are decorating you're walking stick the Master Gardeners will be presenting on the different uses of the soaptree yucca and how to grow one in your garden.

Make three greeting cards that convey love, gratitude, and celebration, leaving a lasting impression on friends and loved ones. All supplies will be provided, and no previous experience is necessary. While you are creating your cards, the Master Gardeners will talk about pollinator plants and how you can incorporate them into your garden.

Embark on a creative journey with us and discover the joy of making a gourd birdhouse. Gourd birdhouses beautify your outdoor space and provide essential shelter for our feathered friends. They add charm to garden landscapes, adding a touch of whimsy and warmth. Customize a gourd birdhouse and take home a gourd seed packet to try growing your own. Gourds make excellent containers, rattles, ornaments, and planters. All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies will be provided. While you are creating your birdhouse, the Master Gardeners will be speaking about the types and uses of gourds and how to grow them in your garden.

Join us for an exciting workshop where you'll create a beautifully painted garden journal. Our team will provide instructions and inspiration to help you design and paint your unique journal. The journal is approximately 5” x 8”, and the cover is removable. Journals are very helpful and will inspire you to keep track of important garden information—no experience is needed. All supplies will be provided. While you are creating your journal, the Master Gardeners will speak on the importance of recordkeeping for garden success.

No experience is necessary, and we will provide all the supplies needed. While you are creating, the Master Gardeners will discuss the different types of cholla cacti and their importance in our desert.

Join us for a delightful workshop celebrating the joy of the holiday season and the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. Pinecone ornaments exude a timeless charm and warmth that evoke memories of cozy winter evenings and festive celebrations. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a novice DIY enthusiast, this workshop offers a festive opportunity to create memories and decorations that will be cherished for years to come. Each participant will make two pinecone ornaments and two pinecone flowers. While creating your masterpieces, the Master Gardeners will discuss pine trees and how to care for them in the desert.
