Who takes it: New volunteers training to become Master Gardeners

Recertification Period: One Time Class

Cost: Varies by County. ~$200-$375

Policy Information: The fee paid to take the Master Gardener program certification is utilized for books, materials, uniforms, name badges, and other items for the incoming MG. Scholarships may be available for residents who need financial assistance.

Taking the Training:  Each training is hosted locally by county, and start at various times of the year. Please contact your local Master Gardener program staff for more information.

Who takes it: All volunteers who handle money

Recertification Period: Every 2 years.

**Special Note: After completion of training, volunteers must sign and return the Awareness Acknowledgement to program staff BEFORE receiving any card payments. Staff will send document to Treasury Office.
