Cantaloupe Carton Size Grades

Reference document to convert melon size (circumference) to the industry standard yield measurement of number of boxes per acre of marketable fruit (carton size grade number). This helps researchers convert individual test plot melon sizes into more meaningful data. It also helps breeders or growers identity "walk-by" size fruit in their plots that is too large or small for shipment, which should be accounted for when reporting test plot yield. An excel formula is included to facilitate inch circumference conversion.
