Peer Review
Some content on the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension website shows an icon when that content is peer reviewed. This means that qualified, subject-matter experts have reviewed the materials.
Reviewers are fluent in the subject of the content and familiar with the characteristics of the intended audience. Reviewers look at the material and include specific, objective suggestions to help authors improve the content. Authors have the responsibility to incorporate or reject suggestions and to revise the content to the satisfaction of the reviewers and Associate Director within the appropriate subject area of 4-H; Family, Consumer and Health Sciences, Agriculture and Natural Resources; and Tribal Extension.
