Built on relationships and local leadership, the Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program (FRTEP) connects land-grant institutions, tribal colleges, and community partners to strengthen lives, livelihoods, and communities. Tribal Extension Agents are embedded within Native American communities, building trust and supporting the delivery of locally relevant and responsive programs.
