Food Protection Manager Certification Training

Overview

Become a certified food protection manager with our ANAB-accredited training and certification program. If you manage or supervise employees who handle, prepare, store or serve food, the Food Safety Manager Training course will prepare you for your certification exam through StateFoodSafety. Upcoming in-person and online training courses are listed at the bottom of the page.

Fees
  • $120 non-refundable for training including the exam
  • $35 for the in-person exam retake (payable to State Food Safety)
  • $90 for the online exam retake (payable to State Food Safety)

Community Health Services Requirements

In 2001, Yavapai County adopted a change to its health code requiring all food establishments handling open, potentially hazardous foods to have at least one person available during all hours of operation who has undergone extensive food service training and has obtained manager certification.
