Pima County Smartscape

University of Arizona Pima County Cooperative Extension

Aug. 26, 2022

The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Service, in partnership with Tucson Water, is pleased to offer the Pima County Smartscape Program.  Provides opportunities for all water users in Tucson and the surrounding communities to learn about great looking low-water-use landscapes and efficient irrigation.  Tap water for landscapes is the only source that is not able to be used more than once.  Efficient water use in our landscapes has the potential to create savings in water, costs, maintenance, and energy while cooling and promoting sustainability of our urban desert community!

Professional classes are intended to help build capacity within the landscape industry to design, install, and maintain water-efficient landscapes.

Residential & Rebate classes are designed to assist Tucson area residents in making water-smart choices for their landscapes.

All classes are sponsored by Tucson Water and are FREE of charge.
