Jacob Salcido

Jacob Salcido is the Early Childhood Specialist for the Cochise County Cooperative Extension SNAP-Ed team.

Growing up in Albuquerque, NM, Jacob has a heart for the Southwest and its distinct communities, cultures, and outdoor spaces. Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University; he also has an academic background in Sociology (in which he minored). Jacob is a strong believer in the Trauma-Aware perspective that informs much of the SNAP-Ed team's work and outreach. Jacob is always looking to learn more about the interests and values of Cochise County community members, and he hopes to incorporate these values into his community work.
