Jacob Salcido is the Active Living Specialist within the Cochise County Cooperative Extension SNAP-Ed team, and the coordinator of the Curious Quails Youth-Nature and Breastfeeding-Friendliness Recognition programs. Growing up in Albuquerque, NM, Jacob has a heart for the Southwest and its distinct communities and cultures. Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, and he also has an academic background in Sociology (which he minored in). Jacob is a strong believer in the trauma-informed perspective that guides much of the SNAP-Ed team's work and outreach. Jacob is always looking to learn more about the interests and values of Cochise County community members, and he hopes to incorporate these values into his community work.
