Ben Tully has been the invasive species outreach coordinator with the University of Arizona’s Pima County Cooperative Extension since September 2022. Born and raised in Seattle, Ben worked as a teacher in Hong Kong from 2011 to 2022, where he developed an interest in the natural world through hiking and various trips around Asia. In his with Cooperative Extension, Ben strives to be a valuable resource to the community in understanding the unique challenges we face against non-native plant life in the Sonoran Desert, and how to best tackle these challenges. His role serves both the University and the Pima County Conservation Lands & Resources Department.
