Overview
Hualapai (pronounced Wal-lah-pie) means “people of the tall pines.” In 1883, an executive order from U.S. President Chester Arthur established the Hualapai Reservation along the Colorado River in northwest Arizona. Cooperative Extension connects Hualapai communities to University science and other expert advice to make people healthier and businesses more successful.
