Overview

Do you enjoy working with your hands, soldering, and circuitry? This is the project for you! Meet new friends while working in small teams. The curriculum uses the SeaMATE PufferFish Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) platform. The innovative ROV program engages educators and students in the engineering design process focused on real-world challenges. The Underwater Robotics Project is approximately a 60-hour project that is implemented in various formats, either meeting weekly one or two times for about 10-weeks or meeting for a longer amount of time for fewer weeks. The implementation will depend on the 4-H Volunteer/Staff teaching the Underwater Robotics Curriculum.  The 4-H Volunteer/Staff teaching the Underwater Robotics Project will have access to the Google Classroom where lessons, videos, and teaching resources are hosted. Betsy Wilkening is the instructor and is available to help support  4-H Volunteer/Staff teaching the Underwater Robotics Curriculum.
