Speaker: Maricopa County Master Gardener Amber Hughes

CLASS INFO:
Many gardeners who live in our Valley, are hesitant to plant flowers in the hottest months in our summer. It's not only possible but very rewarding. Amber Hughes will show you which varieties are good for summer color in the ground or in a container and how much sun the specific plants need or can tolerate.

SPEAKER INFO:
Amber Hughes is a Water Conservation Coordinator, attained an ASU Graduate degree in Plant biology and a bachelor's degree in Biology. She is a Maricopa County Master Gardener and has earned SmartScape certificates, Urban Forestry certificate, and Irrigation Auditing training. She has taught for more than 25 years and love plants, soils, the environment, nature and anything gardening.
