4-H Leaders, let's kick off the new 4-H year strong!

We are excited to invite your club officers and members interested in leadership roles to attend the Pinal County 4-H Youth Club Officers Training on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Maricopa Agricultural Center, Multi-Purpose Room (37860 W. Smith Enke Rd., Maricopa, AZ 85138).

This free, countywide training is designed to help club officers develop the skills and confidence needed to lead successful club meetings throughout the year.

Participants will learn about:
Officer roles and responsibilities
President & Vice President
Secretary & Treasurer
Parliamentary Procedure
Committee Guidance
Creating and following an Agenda
Running effective 4-H meetings

As an added bonus, participants will have the opportunity to practice running a 4-H meeting during the training.

Bonus for Clubs! The first five clubs to register (multiple officer roles) will receive a FREE Club Meeting Kit filled with resources to help make meetings organized, fun, and successful.
Registration is free, but RSVPs are requested by September 17, 2026. Please contact Shelby McDonald at 520-374-6216 or shelbymcdonald@arizona.edu to register.

We encourage every club to send their elected officers, potential future officers, and any youth interested in strengthening their leadership skills. This is a great opportunity to connect with other 4-H members from across Pinal County while preparing for a successful year ahead.

We look forward to seeing your club represented!
