Topic: Designing with Caliche Soils and/or High-strength Wastewater & Mounding Analysis
This one-day course in advanced design of onsite wastewater treatment systems will cover what you need to consider when designing a system that has a soil treatment system in caliche soil or if you have a wastewater source that is considered high-strength waste. The course will also cover how to determine how much mounding will occur using any soil treatment technology. Prerequisite: All participants will need to complete both the NAWT Inspection Training and Soils & Site Evaluation courses prior to attending. Other Certification: This class qualifies for 8 CEU hours for renewing your NAWT certificate and for Registered Sanitarians.
