Description:

This vegetable gardening class is for beginner and advanced gardeners alike. Learn about vegetable gardening from seed and transplant selection and planting, soil improvements, protection from pests and weather, and a review of daily care for vegetable gardens as they grow. She will also share some of her favorite seed catalogs.

 

 

Bio:

Maricopa County Master Gardener Pam Perry likes to try different versions of vegetables to discover what works and what doesn't in our low desert climate. She is our "go to" person on expertise pertaining to vegetable and fruit gardening. Pam manages our popular vegetable garden on the Extension Office grounds. You may get a chance to tour the garden with the class.
