Our Finances
The Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation is a unique 501 c-3 organization with dual objectives. The first is to raise money on behalf of the Arizona 4-H program and the second is to provide fiduciary oversight to all 4-H Clubs, Councils and groups as the “umbrella” organization through which all 4-H monies are reported each year to the Internal Revenue Service.
The Foundation allocates funds in July and December of each year for specific state and local 4-H projects, activities and events. It is the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation's policy to not pay indirect costs when allocating funds for any propose or grant. The Arizona 4-H office, as well as, local counties and clubs often partner with the 4-H Foundation for fundraising opportunities, and to raise funds for specific programs or local groups that are held within the 4-H Foundation. These may be accessed by approved 4-H faculty, staff and volunteers by requesting these funds from the Foundation Office.
