GEAR UP

Greenlee County Cooperative Extension and the Greenlee County Sheriff's Office have partnered to provide Greenlee Emergency Action Resource. This program is a hands-on learning opportunity for teen youth to learn about first responder careers as well as learn disaster preparedness skills. Our goal is to teach valuable skills in the following areas:

   Disaster Medical Operations (CPR, Heat-Related Illnesses, Splinting)
   Search and Rescue (Knots, Swift Water Rescue) 
   Disaster Psychology
   Fire Suppression
   Family Disaster Preparation (Evacuation Planning, Home Diaster Kits)
   Active Shooting

Current Programming:

- Morenci High School Health Class (3 Freshmen Classes)

-Duncan High School Weight Class (1 Class mixed grades)
