Who we are

Chandler Hot Shots 4-H is a shooting club that practices, competes, and develops youth ages 8-19 years old. They serve youth from all over Maricopa County and offer all disciplines of shooting sports. Chandler Hot Shots youth will learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, how to clean and maintain firearms, and so much more. Practices focus primarily on air rifle, air pistol, .22 pistol, .22 rifle, muzzle loader, Western Heritage, and archery (both recurve and compound). They would like to develop a shotgun and hunting skills program with volunteers who have a passion and patience for developing youth. The activities of the program and the support of certified adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills. They have community service opportunities to help with the clean-up of the range. The club competes in county, state, and national (if they qualify) level contests. In addition to the county enrollment fee, this club has monthly dues of $30, which cover the costs of facility rentals, equipment, ammunition, and supplies.
