Renee Carstens specializes in leadership development by providing activities and programs that center on positive youth development. She has facilitated hundreds of youth-lead service-learning projects. Renee joined the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension team in 2017 with 26+ years of experience in public education, from teaching classes in early childhood, youth development to adult instruction. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She enjoys working with youth and adult volunteers to provide opportunities for youth, community and workforce development. Renee approaches each day by Living Aloha.
