Glenn Wright
The primary emphasis of Dr. Wright's position is in Extension (60%) with a split appointment in research (30%) and teaching (10%). He is employed on an annual basis and, as such, maintains full activity during the summer months. In Extension, he is expected to conduct a research-based education program that demonstrates innovation, initiative, professional expertise and a working relationship with colleagues and clientele. His current activities in this regard include developing field research and educational programs that benefit fruit growers and others, editing a newsletter, serving as an information resource to the citrus industry, and testing new citrus and deciduous varieties and rootstocks. Additionally, he has accepted responsibility for developing and teaching a formal course on citrus production (PLS 403) which is offered in the Spring semester to students at Arizona Western College in Yuma.
