George Stefanakis coordinates the 4-H Ropes Course program, which is a resource used mainly by youth groups in Pima County to develop critical life skills such as teamwork, self-belief, leadership, communication, trust, goal-setting, and complex problem solving. He also lends a hand with many other 4-H Youth Development programs such as Tucson Village Farm, the Tucson 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors Club, 4-H Adventure Camp, and all the 4-H Outdoor Leadership hiking, backpacking, caving, and climbing trips. George has worked for PCCE since 2011, when he began his journey in the field of youth development as an AmeriCorps member, and he has been fortunate to have been able to work with AmeriCorps members and the Wildcat Corps ever since.
