Cassie Burruel

Cassie Burruel has been a loyal member of UA Cooperative Extension staff since 1997. She serves as both the Master Gardener Program Coordinator and Office Specialist for the Green Valley satellite office. She teaches classes for parents, caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren, and incarcerated parents as part of the Family Engagement Program. Classes include Brain Waves, PIPE (Partners in Parenting Education), Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), and Positive Discipline programs. Garden Discovery Days is a class that Cassie created that combines her expertise in gardening with her parenting skills to draw a beautiful parallel between raising plants and raising children.
