Dr. Mukherjee is committed to supporting stakeholders by enhancing producers' productivity and profitability. His work primarily focuses on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of desert agriculture through an Extension program and applied research in Pinal County. He addresses and educates stakeholders regarding major challenges in crop production through workshops, field days, tent talks, factsheets, and peer-reviewed publications. Additionally, he is interested in interdisciplinary research collaborations with the specialists and stakeholders to tackle agricultural issues in Arizona.
