Amy Ganguli
Dr. Ganguli is dedicated to building strong partnerships among academics, citizens, and local organizations to support collaborative, solutions-oriented work. She brings people together – including livestock producers, veterinarians, Extension partners, and state and federal agencies – to ensure that projects and tools are practical, relevant, and responsive to real-world needs.
Before joining the university, Dr. Ganguli served as a Program Lead at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, where she provided scientific expertise, leadership, and strategic communication to advance research, Extension, and education in sustainable agriculture. She developed, implemented, refined, and led competitive funding programs and federal interagency efforts supporting U.S. agriculture, while providing science leadership in bioenergy, natural resources, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.
