Need more color and pollinators in your garden? Want to learn how to collect and save seeds? Seed Savers and Garden Arts are joining forces for an exciting, fun-filled adventure. During the first half of this workshop, the Garden Arts Committee will assist you in making (3-6) Sonoran Desert wildflower seed balls and (1) 8x10 sheet of seed paper to take home. Planting instructions will be provided, as well as fun bags and tags. During the second half, the Seed Savers Committee will give a talk on seed saving techniques, followed by a guided tour through the demonstration gardens to gather seeds and make a seed shaker. Some prepackaged seed packets will also be available. Parts of this workshop will be held outdoors and will be messy. Please dress appropriately and bring a hat and water bottle.
