For over 100 years, Cooperative Extension has adapted alongside communities to ensure that we connect people, families and businesses to the resources and research they need to solve their biggest challenges.
Preparing for the future.
In 2024, Cooperative Extension held eight sessions across the state, hearing from 361 people on what Cooperative Extension is doing well, where we can improve and how we can best meet community needs. We also interviewed community partners, funders, experts and those invested in Arizona's future.
These sessions, interviews and additional data are guiding our strategic plan. This roadmap will guide Cooperative Extension for the next 10 years and ensure that our actions and investments match Extension's mission to boost agriculture, foster you development and community health and connect communities to University of Arizona research and resources.

Economic Impact
Every $1 Cooperative Extension receives generates $5 in direct benefit to Arizona communities through grants, programming and putting research into practice.
