4-H provides youth ages 5-18 with hands-on experiences in science, agriculture, health and civic engagement that empower them to build essential life skills and prepare for whatever their future holds.

Get Started as a 4-H Member

Membership is open to all youth at two participation levels. 4-H Cloverbuds, ages 5-7 years old participate in non-competitive contests while 4-H Members, ages 8-18 years old do compete. Learn more about the 4-H experience.

  1. Decide on a 4-H project.
  2. Contact your Extension office.
  3. After contacting the office, create a profile and enroll as a 4-H member through ZSuite. Learn more about Zsuite by visiting the help document center.

In 4-H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us.
