Maricopa County Master Gardener

Desert Institute of Gardening

Intensive 2-hour-long presentations on home horticulture topics given by Master Gardeners to the public.

In 2020, our DIG Classes moved to a fully online format with live classes held over Zoom with a follow-up Q&A Session in a Zoom Breakout Room, with Master Gardeners available to answer your specific garden or home horticulture related questions.  As pandemic conditions have decreased, DIG Classes have returned to an in-person format, along with the continuation of monthly online DIG Classes.

  • DIG Online Classes ARE NOT recorded to be made available to participants who are unable to attend the live class.
  • DIG Online tickets are $12.00 per person, but a limited number of donation tickets for those facing financial hardship are also available with a minimum $1 ticket fee.  In person cost is $20 plus material fees as applicable.
  • If you are interested in attending a DIG Class, you will need to register in advance of the class on Eventbrite.
  • Links to specific upcoming classes are listed below, and also available on the Eventbrite registration page
