The information collected in this survey will aid with the creation and enhancement of educational livestock programs in Yavapai County and around the state for the upcoming years. This is a voluntary survey, but your input is vital to help us meet your needs, issues, and learn your interests in the livestock industry. It will only take around 5 minutes to complete!
Livestock Production in Yavapai County
Agriculture is deep in the history of Arizona and Yavapai county. With early settlers growing livestock for food and trade. Today, livestock is prevalent through all of Yavapai county. Cattle is the main species with over 35,000 head in the county. Sheep and goats total just over 800 animals. Poultry, equine, and many other animals are present as well.
