First Smiles

Childhood tooth decay (cavities) is one of the most common preventable diseases. Tooth decay may cause pain where the child may not be able to speak, eat, or sleep properly.  Poor dental hygiene may even lead to more chronic illnesses. The First Smiles Program provides preventative dental health education and fluoride varnishing to children birth to five.
