In the first talk of this new series on phenology in our region, we’ll explore the seasonal changes in plants and animals that you can observe all around you. You’ll learn about the science of phenology—the study of recurring seasonal events in nature—and why it is increasingly important for documenting how climate change is affecting the timing of these events. Join us to discover what to look for throughout the seasons and how you can contribute to this fascinating field as a citizen scientist.
