Tried it once and want to try it again?
If your 4-Her has wanted to try shotgun shooting or it’s been a while
and they want to try it again, please join us at Ben Avery Clay Target
Center TRAP RANGE 5 for an introduction to shotgun shooting
fundamentals. The clinic will start with the basics of range safety, the
parts of a shotgun and shells and then when everyone is comfortable,
move to the trap range, FIVE SHOOTERS AT A TIME, to experience
what it’s like to shoot at clay pigeons.
4-H certified shotgun instructors will be leading the clinic and
supported and supplemented by experienced current 4-Hers so the
experience will be both safe and personalized.
Open to any registered 4-Her age 9 or older as per the facility’s rules.
Shotguns and ammo in a variety of sizes plus eye and ear protection
will be provided, no need to bring your own.
