Arizona 4-H State Shooting Sports

Registration is now open! (Note that registration closes 01 July 2026.)
WHO: Any enrolled AZ 4-H member or AZ National Guard and their immediate family. Shooters must be at least 8 years old. We will have equipment & instructors on site & available for first time shooters.
WHERE: Tappen Springs, Camp Navajo, west of Flagstaff. Free primitive camping and porta-johns on site. Note that there are no hook-ups or water available. Please see attachment below for directions to the event site.
WHEN: July 31 - August 2, 2026. Registration begins at 7:00 am; ranges open at 7:00 am (both days); ranges close at 6pm Friday & Saturday & 12pm Sunday.
EVENTS: 3-D (3 separate 3-D courses -15 targets each), FITA (practice/beginner range), aerial targets, long shot competition and night shoot.
FOOD: Friday & Saturday - lunch available for purchase. $10 per plate (sandwich, chips, 1 side dish, dessert & drink). Individual food purchases will be available.
CASH RAFFLE: Saturday @ 3 pm for outdoor gear; archery equipment; etc. Each registered shooter will get one free ticket. Additional raffle ticket purchase prices: $5 for 1, $20 for 5, $50 for 20. All proceeds benefit Arizona 4-H Shooting Sports.
