Operating, Maintaining, and Enhancing your Rainwater Harvesting System – (Not a Rebate class)
Hybrid Class (Choice of Zoom or In-Person)
In-person limited to 20 participants – Pima County Cooperative Extension 4210 N. Campbell Ave.
The Operating, Maintaining and Enhancing Your Rainwater Harvesting System class is designed for those who already have a rainwater harvesting system and want to learn more about how to use, maintain and/or enhance it. It is NOT the required "Rainwater Harvesting Rebate" class.
Explore the different types of rainwater harvesting systems, including passive, active, hybrid, and discuss how each can be used most effectively. We'll also cover simple maintenance measures that will keep your system functioning efficiently.
In addition, we'll describe a number of options for enhancing an existing rainwater harvesting system so that you can capture more rain and put it to better use on your landscape. In many cases, some or all of the costs of these enhancements may qualify for a rebate, even if a rebate was awarded for the current system! We'll cover how to determine your eligibility.
Pre-Registration Required. If there is space available in the class, you can access it through the online event link.
