Home Irrigation
Learn the basics of designing, installing and operating an efficient irrigation system.

Join us Saturday, February 11th for a hands on workshop on home irrigation. See attached flyer.
Learn to design, install and operate an efficient, trouble free irrigation system at home. Have an existing system that you think could be better? We'll address that also.
We will begin with the basic foundation of determining the actual volume and operating pressure of your water supply as it applies to the efficiency of your system and particularly how to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the system and/or your domestic well. From there we move on to available components, compatibility and application of parts.
Next section will be maintenance, trouble shooting and repair, along with how to upgrade existing systems.
We'll finish with watering for soil types and adjusting the program to meet the needs of your plants through the 4 seasons (5 if you count wind as a season).
We'll meet here at the Extension office (around back of the building) from 10 till 2. Dress to be outdoors for part of this class and do pack a lunch, as fast food in Duncan is not to be found. The cost is $10.00 to the public, and is included with tuition paid by Greenlee Master gardener students.
