Developmental Milestone Activities
Developmental and Sensory Screening (DSS) Program
Though each child is different, developmental milestones are skills and behaviors most children learn to do by specific ages. These developmental milestone activity videos and handouts are a fun way for you and your child (ages 0-5) to work towards each of the five developmental milestones.
The five developmental milestones include communication, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and social emotional skills. Do you have questions about your child's development? Connect with staff in your region to schedule a free developmental milestone screening

What Animal Made that Sound?

Working on developmental milestones with your young children can be fun! Make silly noises together and ask them to help you say the animal’s name that made that sound. These are great ways to work on problem-solving skills!
