Spring in the low desert is one of the best times to grow, but the season can be short and every day counts. In this class, you’ll learn how to prepare your garden for our favorite warm-season crops like beans, squash, and tomatoes. We’ll cover the fundamentals of successful gardening: soil, sunlight, timing, and watering.

Join us at the library. Grow stunning cacti & succulents in the desert—learn care tips, varieties, and get expert advice for resilient, drought-tolerant plants.

Located at the Robles Elementary Family Resource Center.

Now Two Days! On Saturday, speaker presentations with two meeting room locations to choose from will be held in the morning. Demonstrations with smaller break-out type sessions and hands-on instruction with one-on-one interaction will be held in the afternoon. Sunday will focus on horse behavior concepts you can start using at home on the ground and under saddle with Dr. Angelo Telatin.

The Citrus Clinics, now in their 24th year, feature the foremost state citrus, date palms, and deciduous fruit tree experts including University of Arizona faculty and noted local professionals.
