AmeriCorps

What is AmeriCorps?

AmeriCorps members serve directly with nonprofit organizations to tackle our nation’s most pressing challenges. Every year, more than 270,000 individuals serve in organizations making a difference in communities across America.

AmeriCorps at University of Arizona Cooperative Extension

UA Wildcat Corps improves lives and communities by serving as a statewide network that provides lifelong educational programs for all Arizonans. AmeriCorps Members focus on the AmeriCorps priority area of education by providing experiential learning opportunities for youth. Community needs are addressed with service that strengthens the capacity of individuals to increase educational attainment and fosters positive development.
