Thank you for taking part in this year’s edition of Arizona Cooperative Extension’s Annual Conference! Once again, we’re delivering this event virtually and this year’s committee has been hard at work in planning another great experience. Extension has undergone some significant changes this past year and the timing of our conference couldn’t be better.
In my brief time as Extension Director, I’m reminded of how vital our work really is for our Arizona communities. It’s exciting to see the great work and I’m continually learning all the amazing things we do. During my time in Maricopa County, I didn’t get to have as much of the statewide perspective as I would have liked. But in this role, I can see the tremendous impacts we’re making and what really makes Extension unique!
“Uniquely Extension” is our theme and it will help us to showcase and demonstrate all the wonderful work we do which makes us unique. It’s also something that we can carry forward throughout the year as we continue to expand our brand, our footprint, and tell our stories effectively to engage even more stakeholders.
Although this year’s conference will be slightly condensed, we will still have the quality programming and recognition and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone, virtually, once again!
