Mexican hat Ratibida columnifera with fasciation, which is an abnormal fusion and flattening of plant organs, usually stems, resulting in ribbon-like, coiled and contorted tissue. Cause can be related to hormonal, genetic, bacterial, fungal, viral or environmental conditions. Remove odd growth.
