Vegetation GIS Data System 4.0 Video Series

Vegetation GIS Data System (VGS) is a software application for recording and managing vegetation and other ecosystem related data. The application provides: 1) a data repository for organizing and managing data, photos, documents, positional coordinates and other information associated with an unlimited number of study sites or locations, 2) electronic tools for recording data in the field (using tablet PCs) as well as historical data in the office and 3) reports and tools for summary and presentation of results in the field and in the office. Data forms are available for a variety of vegetation sampling methods and can be designed for your specific protocols and needs. VGS is available for download at vgs.arizona.edu at no cost. This series of tutorial videos is for VGS version 4.0 and is divided into brief sections that cover specific help topics.
