Defoliation of Pima Cotton
Defoliation of American Pima (Gossypium barbadense L.) and Upland (G. hirsutum L.) cotton continues to be an important feature of the production and management systems in the desert southwest. The purpose of this report is to provide a brief review and summary of the aforementioned factors concerning the management of a Pima cotton crop towards optimum production and efficient defoliation.
