Bagrada Bug: A New Pest for Arizona Gardeners
The Bagrada bug (Bagrada hilaris), an invasive pest of crucifers previously found in Africa, Asia, and Europe is now present in southern California and Arizona. It is a major pest of Brassicaceae crops and has been found on other plants as well. An integrated pest management strategy may include cultural practices, biological control, and pesticides.
