Greenlee Rangeland Management
Range livestock production is a significant part of the economic base of Southeastern Arizona. Twenty-three percent of the range beef cattle in the state occur in Cochise, Graham and Greenlee Counties with a value of $42 million according to the 2007 Arizona Agricultural Statistics Bulletin. The intermingled ownership of federal, state and private lands creates a need to balance livestock grazing with natural resources.
