Corn

General Information

Corn Management Guidelines

The majority of corn has been planted in many areas of central Arizona during the last several weeks. To maximize your yield, there are many aspects to production that need to be considered, including your fertilization program, irrigation schedule, and insect, weed and pathogen management. The UC IPM Corn Pest Management Guidelines helps with corn IPM practices and many aspects of agronomic practices. Keep in mind to adapt many of the recommendations in this guide to our conditions in the low desert.
