Arizona 4-H STEM YOUniversity is excited to offer the Lego Robotics Project, from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. For more information and to register.
This year we are having 4 competition STEM Projects:

Underwater Robotics (AZ 4-H MATE SCOUT Regional) - May 04

Lego Robotics (AZ 4-H State) - May 04

Green SEED (AZ 4-H State) - May 05
-
Cross Reality (AZ 4-H State) - May 05
These 4 STEM Projects will have 3 aspects that the teams are going to compete for demonstration, engineering design, and marketing/business display board
The AZ 4-H Competition: May 04-05, 2024
- Location: Univerity of Arizona Recreation
- Pool
- Multi-purpose Room A and Aquatic Room
- Time: Competition starts at 10 am - 4 pm
- Set up is at 9:00 am
- 22 teams are alone for each project
- $75 registration fee for Underwater Robotics
- $35 registration fee for Green SEED, Lego Robotics, and Cross Reality
The 4-H competition is open to 3rd-grade to 12th-grade, teachers, educators, and adults interested in becoming 4-H volunteers. It is available in all 15 counties in AZ and Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Programs (FRTEP), dependent on 4-H Volunteer supervision. Supplies are available and will be coordinated through your 4-H county Cooperative Extension Office. Each project will have step-by-step video instructions on Google Classroom for adult 4-H Volunteers to access for teaching and student learning.

Adults, Teachers, Educators, and 4-H Volunteers
Are you a teacher, educator, or an adult interested in becoming a 4-H volunteer, interested in learning about our projects and teaching this to your students or club members? Make a difference in your community and become a STEM 4-H Volunteer! To begin the certified volunteer process, contact your county agent. When you become a certified 4-H volunteer, you get to earn Professional Development hours. You do not need to be a certified 4-H volunteer to participate in the AZ competition.
Youth: 3rd grade to 12th grade
Are you a 3rd to 12th grade student interested in learning about building, coding, problem-solving, and critical thinking? Do you enjoy hands-on activities and learning about the engineering design process? You are encouraged to become a 4-H member! Students receive certificates of completion and special awards are given.
