Arizona 4-H Livestock Show & Expo

March 4-6th, 2022, at the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, AZ

The Inaugural Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo

The Arizona 4-H program is excited to announce the inaugural Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo. The event will be a convening of Arizona 4-H youth who participate in large- and small-livestock projects. Youth from across the state will have a chance to grow, learn, practice, and showcase their knowledge at the Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo through exhibition and knowledge contests. Clinics will also be provided to help youth to grow in their project Mastery.

The Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo is made possible by the partnership with Showman's LLC with support from generous donors to the Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation.

Registration Information and Instructions

Cattle, Swine, Lamb, and Goat Entry Form

*Please make sure to create an account to start your entry AND make sure to sign up for Showmanship and Market individually. If you only sign up for market, you will not automatically be entered for showmanship! You will need an account for every exhibitor!

INSTRUCTIONS- Once you get to the “Entries” portion, click the drop down menu that says “New Entry” and select your species’ market class. Select the exhibitor, fill out all your information, finish by clicking “add entry”! Then, make sure to click the drop down menu that says “New Entry” again and select “Showmanship”! Select your species’ showmanship class, click next, select the exhibitor, enter birthdate, click next, click the drop down menu to indicate if you are entering the novice show or not (only first year exhibitors can enter the novice class), Review your details and click “add Entry!

If you have multiple animals or species, please select all the classes you will need for them all! For example:

  • If I have 3 Pigs that I need to sign up then I would follow the steps above and repeat them 3 times. Making sure I enter each individual pig’s information on different market entries AND still enter 3 Swine showmanship entries (even if the showmanship questions are the same). When I review my entries, I should be able to see the 3 Market entries and 3 Showmanship entries listed before I move forward to the “Questions” portion of registration.
  • If I have 2 Lambs and 2 Goats (or any combination of the 4 species for this specific entry form), you will follow the same instructions as the example of multiple animals above. Once I get to the “Entries” portion of the form, I select all the market classes I will need for all the species I am participating with. Making sure I accurately enter each individual animal’s information on different species specific market entry. Then, I make sure to select the same number of showmanship classes that go with each species’ market class (showmanship questions are all the same, just make sure you enter the species’ specific showmanship entry for each market class you select). In this example, I should have 4 market entries (2 for lamb and 2 for goat) and 4 showmanship entries (2 lamb showmanship entries and 2 goat showmanship entries)!

After all your entries are entered, they will be listed out for you to review. Make sure all your entries for all your animals are listed! Review your market and showmanship details and if all is correct, click next. Answer all question, click next, and follow the instructions to the payment portal!

Large & Small Stock Preview Show

The Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo will be the first Arizona 4-H exhibition of the year. This show will be an opportunity to practice and prepare your animals for your county fair.  

Knowledge Contests

The Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo will emphasize knowledge contests so that youth without an animal to exhibit will be able participate in the event. Knowledge contests include Livestock Judging, Skill-A-Thon, Quiz Bowl, and 4-H Demonstrations.  

Fun & Celebration

The Arizona 4-H Livestock Show and Expo will have several opportunities for youth and families to convene, share fun, and enjoy celebrating Arizona 4-H.  There will be a barn dance on Saturday night and an exhibitor award dinner on Sunday afternoon.  

Awards & Recognition

The Arizona 4-H Stock Show and Expo will award Champions to the individuals who earn the most points between points earned from the show and from the knowledge contests. Champions will be selected in all species and age groups.
