Since joining IBM full-time in 2001, Calline Sanchez has held three executive leadership positions. She is currently Vice President, IBM Worldwide Systems Lab Services, leading a worldwide team of technology consultants to deliver systems and solutions to end users. She also serves as Tucson Arizona Site Leader and New Mexico State Leader.

Previously, Ms. Sanchez was responsible for the development of IBM's Enterprise Storage Systems. She also led the IBM Storage Program Management team to deliver the Storage Portfolio, including Flash, Disk, Physical/Virtual Tape, and Data Back-up solutions. In 2019, Flash Memory Summit (FMS) and the Evaluator Group named Ms. Sanchez winner of the SuperWomen in Flash Leadership Award.

Ms. Sanchez began her IBM career as a Software Engineer intern in 1999 after working at Sandia National Labs for several years. 

Ms. Sanchez is very involved in both the State and local community. She currently serves as a leader or board member in the following Councils and organizations: The Arizona-Mexico Commission, The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Arizona Tech Council, The Southern Arizona Leadership Council, University of Arizona School of Management Information Systems, The United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, and Angel Charity for Children Inc. In 2018, Ms Sanchez was 2018 Hispanic Business Woman of the Year by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
