Urban Ag Field Day - Forestdale Farms
Urban Ag Field Days are peer-learning and networking opportunities initiated by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension's Urban Agriculture Production, Small-Scale, and Beginning Farmer Program in collaboration with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and Farm Service Agency.
Interested in urban and small-scale agriculture? Join us on our Urban Ag Field Day in Flagstaff, Arizona at Forestdale Farms! Learn about how to grow high quality produce that is ecologically and sustainably grown. Forestdale Farms grows a variety of vegtables and herbs, raises chickens, turkeys, and rabbits, as well as makes homemade household items! Find out how Forestdale Farms became acquainted with the challenging growing conditions and limited resources in a high-altitude region. Forestdale Farms values water conservation, biodiversity, and healthy soil! This event will be in-person in Flagstaff, AZ - exact location will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.
