Diabetes Prevention Program
The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension offers the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) across the state. The National DPP is an initiative to address the growing problem of type 2 diabetes. It is a 12-month, group-based program which encourages lifestyle changes shown to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. The program is designed for those who are at high risk of developing type two diabetes or who have been diagnosed with prediabetes.
